These guide pages are designed to help you move from raw output to better shortlist decisions faster and with more confidence.

Overview

Helpful when you want trend clarity instead of reacting to every daily candle.
Best for finding persistent moves that survived a noise filter.
The table metrics are most useful when you compare breakout age, green bricks, and sector strength together.

How to use Renko Screener

1

Begin with breakout day and brick count

Fresh breakouts deserve attention, but names with several green bricks and still controlled extension can also be strong trend continuations.

2

Use the sparkline to avoid late-stage entries

If the recent move is too vertical even on the sparkline, let the chart prove it can pause and reset.

3

Rank by sector quality next

A Renko breakout inside a strong sector usually has better odds than an isolated breakout in a weak industry group.

4

Open the popup chart for final structure review

Confirm that the last peak break is clean, the Renko trend is orderly, and price is not too far from the moving trend overlay.

Starter parameter guide

These are the main inputs you can tune on the page and the range to begin with when you want a clean first pass.

Open Page
Parameter What it does Good range to start
Market Choose the exchange universe you want to scan first. Run India and US separately.
Momentum Period Controls how much recent price history is used to build the Renko structure. Start around 90 to 180 days.
Brick Size % Changes how sensitive the Renko chart is to price movement. Start around 1.0% to 2.0%.
Number of Stocks Controls how many names are scanned from the selected market. Start with 50 to 150 names.

What to prioritize in the output

Breakout day tells you how fresh the structural shift is.
Green bricks since breakout help gauge persistence, not certainty.
Last Renko level gives a cleaner reference point than noisy day-to-day price swings.

Common mistakes to avoid

Treating old Renko breakouts and fresh Renko breakouts as the same opportunity.
Ignoring the sector or broader market context.
Buying extended Renko trends without checking where the next logical reset could occur.
