These guide pages are designed to help you move from raw output to better shortlist decisions faster and with more confidence.

Overview

Best when you want a fast way to narrow the market to multi-factor leaders.
Useful for turning a huge universe into a short list of review-worthy names.
The score is a ranking tool; the chart and context still decide whether the setup is actionable now.

How to use QJ Rating Screener

1

Use the rating to rank, not to outsource judgment

Start with the top names, then review the individual signals, trend quality, sector context, and extension before deciding anything.

2

Compare names near the top of the same sector

When several sector peers rank well, the strongest and cleanest chart often deserves priority.

3

Watch for alignment across columns

The most useful candidates usually look strong not just on one number but across strength, quality, valuation, and trend context.

4

Keep a rolling review list

This screener is ideal for daily or weekly refreshes because leadership rotates even when the score logic stays consistent.

Starter parameter guide

These are the main inputs you can tune on the page and the range to begin with when you want a clean first pass.

Open Page
Parameter What it does Good range to start
Market Choose the exchange universe you want to scan first. Run India and US separately.
Number of Stocks Controls how many names are scanned from the selected market. Start with 60 to 180 names.
Min QJ Rating Raises the composite quality threshold so only stronger multi-factor names remain. Start around 60 to 75.
Min RS Keeps relative strength at a respectable level before a name qualifies. Start around 1.5 to 3.0.
Min Fair Value Gap % Filters for names still showing some upside buffer versus the valuation model. Start around 0% to 10%.
Min / Max RSI Sets the momentum band so you avoid names that are too weak or too overheated. Start around 45 to 55 for min and 65 to 75 for max.
Uptrend Only Limits the list to names already aligned with a stronger primary trend. Keep enabled for the first pass.

What to prioritize in the output

Higher-rated names deserve attention first, not blind trust.
A strong composite profile works best when the stock is not already excessively extended.
The most actionable rows often show both strong ranking and understandable chart structure.

Common mistakes to avoid

Treating the score as a black-box buy signal.
Ignoring sector and entry timing because the ranking is high.
Forgetting to revisit names as market leadership rotates.
